ENID, Okla. - The 12th Annual Tour de Trykes is Saturday, August 19 at 7:30am. Online registration is open HERE. You can also register at the ballpark, 301 S. Grand, the morning of the race at 6am.

The Tour de Trykes is a bicycle tour leaving from downtown Enid (David Allen Memorial Ballpark) on Saturday morning at 7:30am with routes of 2 miles, 14 miles, 26 miles, 42 miles and 100K. This is a road ride for bikes, trikes, recumbents and tandems. Terrain is mostly flat and even.

The categories are Single Rider is $25; Tandem Bicycle is $40; Fun Ride Single is $18 and Family Fun Ride (2 or more) is $35. Early registration deadline is July 18, 2017. Costs will increase after the deadline.

The Tour de Trykes and Criterium raise money for AMBUCS projects which emphasize mobility for those people for whom mobility is difficult. One of the designated projects has been “AmTrykes.” AmTrykes are tricycle-like vehicles specially adapted to allow those with mobility difficulties to be able to ride the bike or trike more easily.

The Twilight Criterium is also August 19. Those races take place in downtown Enid around the square. A Criterium is a bicycle race on a closed course where United States Cycling Association licensed riders compete for cash prizes. The courses are about .08 miles long with riders reaching 30-35 miles per hour. Learn more about the Twilight Criterium here.
